National Museum of Art, Osaka

A Gallery with a vast collection of modern art pieces. The gallery also holds tours, workshops and many events for children. The exterior, which was modelled on the themes of the life of bamboo, and the growth and development of modern art, is also a must-see.


Umeda Sky Building – The Floating Garden Observatory

Kita-ku, Oyodonaka 1-1, Osaka, Umeda Sky Building Floors 39, 40, Rooftop.

Open-air observatory located on the roof of the Umeda Sky Building, at a height of 173m. At night you can also enjoy the Lumi-Sky Walk where lights shine beneath your feet, and the Sky Elevator.


Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan

Minato-ku Kaigandori 1-1-10, Osaka

One of the world’s largest aquariums, with 620 types of breeding exhibits. Watch the animals be fed, and feel for yourself the temperature, sounds and smells etc. in the “New Experience Area”. It’s a new and exciting way to enjoy an aquarium.


Osaka Castle Tower

Chuo-ku, Osakajo 1-1, Osaka

Osaka castle, built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi. The current tower, with its brilliant golden decorations, was restored in 1931. Gaze out upon the Osaka skyline from the 8th floor observatory.



Dotonbori, Chuo-ku, Osaka

Dotonbori, famous for Kani Dorakku (a large, moving sign ofa crab), and the massive Glico sign, is an authentic Osaka experience with its collection of shops selling takoyaki and teppanyaki, unique stores, and theaters.


Abeno Harukas

Abeno-ku, Abenosuji 1-1-43, Osaka

Opened in 2014 as Japan’s tallest building. Like a city with itself, the complex contains stores representing some of the world’s top brands and trend shops. The food court is also impressive.



EXPOCITY 2-1 Senribampaku Koen, Suita-shi, Osaka

EXPOCITY is a Japan's largest mix-used Complex by Expo'70 Commemorative Park. EXPOCITY is fusing entertainment and shopping centered around Mitusi Shopping Park LaLaport EXPOCITY with seven large-scale entertainment facilities including the tallest Ferris Wheel in Japan, and about 300 stores.

Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka

The Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka opened on the February 2, 2022, in Nakanoshima, which is located in the heart of Osaka and is also the symbol of Japan's "City of Water".
The museum has a core collection of art and design works dating from the late-19th century to the present day that are a representation of both Japan and other nations. The museum also looks at the rich artistic activities that took place in its hometown of Osaka. The museum holds a collection of over 6,000 works, including approximately 5,000 donated works.
