National Museum of Art, Osaka

A Gallery with a vast collection of modern art pieces. The gallery also holds tours, workshops and many events for children. The exterior, which was modelled on the themes of the life of bamboo, and the growth and development of modern art, is also a must-see.

Umeda Sky Building – The Floating Garden Observatory

Open-air observatory located on the roof of the Umeda Sky Building, at a height of 173m. At night you can also enjoy the Lumi-Sky Walk where lights shine beneath your feet, and the Sky Elevator.

The Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka opened on the February 2, 2022, in Nakanoshima, which is located in the heart of Osaka and is also the symbol of Japan's "City of Water".
The museum has a core collection of art and design works dating from the late-19th century to the present day that are a representation of both Japan and other nations. The museum also looks at the rich artistic activities that took place in its hometown of Osaka. The museum holds a collection of over 6,000 works, including approximately 5,000 donated works.
