A Japanese breakfast with the flavors of Kyushu and Fukuoka.
We want to offer a superb breakfast, as we believe a good day begins with a good meal.
Our menu includes fresh fish, vegetables delivered directly from the farm, special A-rank rice, Ariake seaweed,
and Yame green tea, as well as ingredients which reflect the tastes of Kyushu and Fukuoka, like Hakata's soul foods:
pollock roe, sesame-soy sauce, and more. Enjoy a Japanese breakfast with a sense of the seasons.
Delicious rice and seasonal dishes from Kyushu.
Feel the seasons from our carefully selected dishes using the rich bounty of Kyushu and Fukuoka. For breakfast, we chose A-grade varieties of rice from Kyushu to give you a true Japanese experience. We also offer a choose-your-own-toppings seafood rice bowl and freshly-made Hakata mentai (pollock roe) baguettes at the counter. Our tea selection comes from the heart of Fukuoka and Yame, and we put our all into its preparation to fully satisfy our customers.
Head chef, Kengo Notomi
Itoshima vegetables grown on fertile ground and the rich egg yolks of Wakamiya are boasted to be the best in the country. A variety of local Fukuoka dishes using high-grade ingredients, such as our green tea. In addition, regional dishes—boiled fish, dried sardines, barley muso, fish soup, red miso, and two more kinds of miso soup—are always available.
Fresh vegetables from Itoshima
Delivered fresh from Itoshima, these vegetables are rich in color and taste. Enjoy them as they are or in a fresh salad.
Yame green tea from Hoshino tea plantation
We use tea leaves from the Yame-Hoshino tea plantation to make high-quality tea. It's characterized by a strong, sweet taste that contains great amino acids.
Steamed savory egg custard made from Itoshima eggs
Taste the local Wakamiya eggs, famous for their rich yolks and smooth, steamed taste. We offer hot, steamed dishes every morning using ingredients from the Genkai Sea.
Local Taste "Gameni" (boiled meat and vegetables)
A Hakata regional dish of boiled chicken, root vegetables and konnyaku, simmered in Kyushu soy sauce. It's a nostalgic dish that goes well with rice.
A "fresh counter" that offers dishes prepared on the spot by the cook. In addition to a Japanese omelette made with nutritious eggs and freshly made baguette sandwiches with spicy seasoned cod roe sauce, we have sashimi that is made from freshly caught fish such as red snappers and whitebait, depending on seasonal availability. You can try foods in the "Nokke style", that is a local style of putting sesame soy sauce and tororo (pounded yam) on your rice.
We carefully select special A-rank rice grown in various parts of Kyushu, such as Fukuoka and Saga. Everyday, we prepare two to three varieties - please try them and compare the texture, grain, sweetness, smell of each variety.
A number of small side dishes are available to enjoy with your rice. We offer dishes to match the seasons, such as pollock roe, pickles, boiled fish, simmered foods, and natto. In addition, you can also enjoy comparing Saga's Ariake seaweed to Fukuoka's Meinohama seaweed while you eat.
We also offer a classic western-style menu including egg dishes, cereals, fruits, bacon, sausage, and freshly-baked bread from a popular Fukuoka bakery.
Fresh vegetables are directly purchased from Itoshima farmers for our fresh salads. Enjoy the taste of freshness.
