Design Concept “YOKOHAMA SKY CRUISING”

The interior is inspired by the image of a hotel anchored in the sky above the harbor of Minatomirai,
featuring the curves and materials of a cruise ship.

20F Lobby

Mobile Art

The artwork above the piano is a mobile installation that expresses the beauty of the sea and sky through light and wind. The piece was created with Japanese washi paper and polarizing film, and its expression changes with the time of day and weather.

Guest Rooms

Japanese Washi Paper Art
【Minatomirai-Blue/Minatomirai-Orange】

Guest rooms overlooking the harbor feature light-blue artwork inspired by the sea, and guest rooms overlooking the city and mountains feature warmer artwork inspired by the setting sun. While bold in form, the artwork also evokes the elegant atmosphere of Minatomirai and the delicate expression of Japanese paper. Guests can enjoy the subtle transition of the artwork from day to night.

Tapestry
【Horizon】

Featured in Executive Corner Twin and Executive Corner King guest rooms only. A distinctive art form characterized by the blotting and grazing of colored Japanese washi paper, an excellent traditional Japanese material.

Pool

Ceramic Art
【Ripple】

Inspired by water ripples, the pieces symbolize the flow of water, floating bubbles, and the movement of corals and aquatic plants.

Magnolia Panel

Artistic lighting inspired by the magnolia flower, which is also the name of the pool. The artwork transforms the tranquil atmosphere of the Lobby into a resort-like ambiance away from the ordinary.
