Traditional Japanese sweets store “Ginza Akebono”

This time, we will introduce "Ginza Akebono Ginza Main Store" which is a 5-minute walk from our hotel.
"Ginza Akebono" is a traditional Japanese sweets store that was founded in 1948 immediately after the end of the World WarⅡ Since sugar was very scarce at the time, the sweets they sold healed people living in devastation after the war. The store name “Akebono” was given in the hope of “the new rise of Japan” by using the word meaning “dawn” in Japanese.
All of the numerous confections, which have changed with the times and trends, are all excellent. Assorted rice crackers “Aji No Mingei” have multiple kinds of rice crackers in it, and you can enjoy various flavor such as cheese, shrimp, and so on. Aji No Mingei is very popular as a gift of appreciation. “Himeguri Monaka” (crispy wafers sandwich with red sweet beans and chestnut filling) and “Siratama Mamedaihuku”(rice cake stuffed with red sweet bean filling) are the long-selling sweets.
Please visit “Akebono” when you come to Ginza. You can absolutely satisfy physically and mentally!
