The newly reopened “Nihonbashi Information Center”
In this article, I would like to introduce the Nihonbashi Information Center, which reopened its doors on February 24, 2020.
The Nihonbashi Information Center, a popular “city concierge” since 2010, has reopened after a complete renovation. As you enter through the main entrance, you will see a large, eye-catching wall map of the Nihonbashi area. The recommended places in Nihonbashi are presented with signs in English, making it easy for overseas visitors to understand. As you proceed into the information center, you will find a wide range of attractive goods on display, including original products that can only be purchased here and a selection of classic Japanese souvenirs. There is also a special counter for incoming tourists, where you can experience small-group workshops led by staff, such as “origami.” With multilingual staff, this is a place where overseas visitors can experience Japanese culture in a casual way.
By all means, pop in and visit the Nihonbashi Information Center, which has become even more attractive.
