Choose from sashimi, tempura, seafood delicacies, condiments, and more, to enjoy in a combination of your choice.

Spice up breakfast with your own custom flair, such as adding tempura to soba noodles for a tempura soba dish.

Add a touch of color to your breakfast with healthy and nutritious ingredients such as soy meat, tofu skin, greater burdock, and konjac, as well as fresh seasonal vegetables and Kyoto-style Japanese side dishes.

We also offer a lineup of classic Kyoto obanzai dishes such as hijiki seaweed, sesame-dressed dishes, burdock root cooked in soy sauce, bean curd lees, and more, carefully prepared with dashi broth. There are always five kinds of seasonal vegetable available.

Kinme Rice

We also place great importance on our rice. We uses kinmemai rice, which has been refined using rice polishing technology that preserves the nutrients and flavor of unmilled brown rice. Enjoy the natural flavor and sweetness of this rice, which has retained more of its nutritional properties than white rice.

Our menu features a wide variety of dishes, from classic accompaniments such as grilled salmon, pickled dried plums and small fish, to Kyoto classics including tofu skin seasoned with starchy sauce, pickled yuzu daikon, and more. These make the perfect accompaniments to our fluffy, flavorful kinmemai rice, sure to stimulate your appetite.

Recreating the nostalgic taste of Kyoto mothers' cooking with dashi broth made with bonito and kelp. Savor our fluffy, syrupy egg rolls. If you wish, you can garnish with grated daikon.

A wide variety of noodle dishes that change daily, including Kyoto's prized hot soba, curry udon with Kyoto-style broth, sakura soba in spring, fine white 'soumen' noodles in the summer, and warm udon in the winter.

Plus, enjoy poached eggs in a variety of styles.

Our bread offerings come courtesy of the Shinshindo bakery, a local favorite in Kyoto. Add these to our poached eggs with hollandaise sauce and mashed potatoes for an eggs Benedict, or even enjoy poached eggs with salad or over rice. Of course, our poached eggs are great on their own.

For a vibrant, healthy plate, we also prepare a range of vegetables, fruits, and desserts, from green salads and hot vegetables made with fresh seasonal produce to desserts such as strawberry and maple flavored mini cakes and yogurt. We also offer sustainably-sourced Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee to perk up your meals and desserts.
