Chiba City Museum of Art

  • Public museum boasting diverse collections
  • See impressive works by local artists, paintings and woodcut prints dating from the Edo Period (1603-1868) through to the mid 20th century, and pieces by contemporary artists such as Yayoi Kusama. The extensive collection of ukiyo-e works even includes some by renowned ukiyo-e master Moronobu Hishikawa, who was born in Sobo, Chiba. Chiba Port Tower

  • Grand views overlooking Tokyo Bay
  • One of Chiba’s most popular spots, the Sunset Promenade located on the second floor has been selected for inclusion in the “Lover’s’ Sanctuary” project. Spectacular night views of Tokyo Bay can be enjoyed from the top of the tower, and you can also take in the beautiful reflections of the sky on the tower itself while seeing how the architecture blends into the landscape.

  • This is the largest commercial facility in the Chiba Station area and boasts luxury brand shops as well as lifestyle stores such as Loft and MUJI. For those traveling by car there is a large parking area.
